What I'm Loving Wednesday

Wow, I haven't done one of these posts in a while! With it being Thanksgiving week, I wanted to post some things I'm loving and am thankful for. 

{one} 

I'm loving that tomorrow is Thanksgiving and that I am off work all week. I definitely needed some relax time! We will be spending the day tomorrow with Dustin's family.

{two} 

I'm loving that tomorrow I will be 32 weeks and that Ashlyn is really growing! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by and that I am actually 8 months now! We scheduled a 4D ultrasound and I can't wait to see her sweet face!

{three} 

I'm loving that we have started projects for the nursery. Dustin redid the floors and he will paint this week as well. The furniture will be in there soon!

{four}

I'm loving that my tree out front has finally completely changed colors and it's just gorgeous! Every year I take pictures of the dogs in the pretty leaves. Yesterday, I attempted to take some pictures without Dustin's help. Not easy! Also, we have Bo (mom's dog) so I tried to get a few of him.

{five}

I'm loving that I put a few Christmas decorations up this week. It's only a small portion of what I normally do but I just don't have the energy this year and I know we won't want to put it all away in January once Ashlyn is here. This might be the first year that my tree is not up before Thanksgiving and that's ok. It will get done eventually!

{six}

I'm loving that today we have our maternity photo shoot with Liz! She's so amazing and I know our pictures will be perfect! I can't wait to show y'all!!

Doggie Models

The other day, I took a few pictures of our dogs in the front yard while the leaves are so pretty! It's extremely difficult to get both dogs to cooperate at the same time.

P.S.- I fully intend on sharing pictures from my wonderful 3 day weekend and Easter but things have been hectic lately and I haven't uploaded any pictures. We've practically had non-stop storms. Also, Dustin and I attended the funeral visitation of an old high school friend of his. Hopefully life will slow down a minute so I can catch up.

Today is Sammy's birthday!

I cannot believe that he is already 7! 

We'll be making a Sonic trip later for his traditional birthday ice cream and fries!

I Love Long Weekends!

Every weekend should have 3 days (at least), right? I certainly think so. 

Friday night, I went out with Kelly. We ate dinner at The BBQ Shop where my brother works and shared bbq nachos. Yum!

Saturday, I woke up feeling crummy. I guess it was just allergies because I never really got worse like some of my friends around here did. Dustin and I went on a lunch date while Sammy was getting groomed and then we spent the rest of the night home watching movies on the couch since I was feeling bad. We watched The American (we hated it) and The Town (we loved it). Have you seen either of those movies? What did you think?

Sunday, we lounged some more and cleaned. Dustin did most of the cleaning since I was dragging. He cleaned inside and out and even my car. :) Jennifer and Liz brought over amazing chicken noodle soup and cookies. Liz, you are so incredibly thoughtful! And, Dustin's parents came over and made us dinner. Nice!

Today, Dustin and I are both off work. We slept in and then grabbed coffee and took the dogs for a nice, long walk. The weather has been amazing! I sure hope it sticks around and Spring comes soon!

Perfect cookout weather

It has been the perfect cookout weather!! It's still warm enough to be outside in shorts but there is no humidity and no sweaty heat! We've grilled the past 2 nights.

Monday night's dinner was incredible!!

Last night we had burgers, nothing big, but still good. Look who was lucky enough to score a cookout dinner. Dogs loved grilled burgers too! Ha!

A movie and a mohawk

Friday night was Girl's Night out with Mandy, Jennifer, Stephanie, Liz, and Amanda. We went to see the movie Eat Pray Love. The movie was pretty good. Julia Roberts was adorable and witty throughout so if you're a fan of hers, I think you'll enjoy it.

Dustin and I made Sammy's hair into a mohawk this weekend, which I think he hated. Actually, I know he hated it.

Starting today, I have all 20 of my preschoolers. I'm anticipating a VERY good year and I'm excited to get to know and love all these new precious babies!

The other night, Dustin brought his dog over to play with Sammy so I decided to get some pictures.

Meet Josie. She is the sweetest little dog. In 2 months, she will be my new fur daughter. Sammy will be so happy to have a friend again.
