Ashlyn's 1st Tiger game

Saturday we took Ashlyn to her first Tiger basketball game. We were in a suite so it was perfect for her. She could play on the floor and move around. I think she really loved all the excitement!

Although our Tigers lost Saturday, we still had a fun time getting dressed up in our Tiger gear to watch!

This past weekend Dustin and I were able to go to the Conference USA tournament games with my mom and dad. Thank you dad for getting us such great tickets! It was such a fun time and even more amazing being there to see the Tigers win the C-USA championship title again this year!

Now we're gearing up for the NCAA tournament. We play St. Louis in the first round and I'm anticipating another great game!

More Get Togethers

Thank you for your sweet comments on my post yesterday. You all sure do know how to make a girl feel good! :)

Saturday night I went with a few girls I work with to another Christmas party. We had a great time hanging out together 2 nights in a row. This time we sang karaoke! Ha!

Sunday, Dustin and I went with his parents and aunts and uncles to see his Grandpa that live in the Jackson, MS area. It was a long day driving almost 4 hours there and then back in one day but I'm so glad we were able to spend time with him. 

Last night, we all went downtown for the Memphis game. We've started going to Wet Willy's before games for a drink. I like to get the Pink Flamingo (strawberry daiquiri and pina coloda mixed).

And after the game we went to a new pizza place downtown called Ferraros. They have a HUGE 34 inch pizza that's big enough for about 10 people to share!

Tonight I'm meeting my girlfriends for dinner. Tis the season to be busy!! :)

Music and Basketball

Friday night, Dustin and I went downtown for the Tiger game. We met up with my parents and my cousin Lauren and her husband Ben at Rum Boogie before. Pam and Terry (band from my wedding reception) were playing. We love getting to see them play!

The game was great and the Tigers won!

After the game, Dustin and I went back to Rum Boogie to see the band Gabby Johnson. They are my very favorite local band so I was excited they were playing while we were downtown!

Saturday and Sunday were pretty low key at our house which was perfectly alright with me. I love a good laid back weekend every once in a while!

Now...let's get this week started because I'm off ALL next week for Thanksgiving!

Friday night was Memphis Madness! This is the official kickoff for Tiger basketball (one of my favorite things)! My dad and I go every year. Dustin and Jennifer went along this year too. So fun!

Saturday, we went to the Tiger football game with our friends Charles and Liza. We always have so much fun with them! 

We met up with my friend Jodi at the game.

After the game we went to get a late night snack at a place in Midtown called Slider Inn. They have all different types of slider sandwiches. Since my brother lives around the corner, he came and met up with us.

It was an amazing weekend with friends, family, and Tiger sports! :)

 

Celebrations

Friday was Jennifer's birthday. While she was out to dinner with Matt, Kelly and I went to her house and left a surprise!

Sunday, some of us went to Osaka for dinner to celebrate!

Saturday, we went to the last Tiger home game with my parents. *tear* It's been such a fun season being able to go to most of the games. But, we ended with a great win!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine went by way too fast.
