Miscellany Monday

Dustin and I had a fun, relaxing weekend!

*Friday night, we went to The BBQ Shop with our friends Zach and Liz. We didn't get any pictures, but we had such a good time. Of course, the food was amazing. Memphis people, this is definitely the best bbq. Go there and ask for Taylor's section (my brother). 

*Saturday, Dustin and I had a pool day. This is the first weekend that we've been in town all summer except Father's Day. It was kinda nice.

*My neighbor across the street had his boat parked on the street directly behind our driveway. Dustin backed my car into it. I FREAKED out, then I cried. Silly, I know. Luckily, it only broke the plastic that covers the tail light. He had it fixed for me the next morning. 

*Last Thursday, we finally had Josie spayed. Poor girl came home with the cone of shame. Ha! But, she did so well, that we took it off of her after the first day. She has healed so quickly!

*I'm so sad that I go back to work in 2 weeks. I have some fun things planned for my last 2 weeks of summer break though including meeting up with some blog friends!

Miscellany Monday

1. Friday night Dustin and I went to see Harry Potter. Yes, we're nerds. I was very impressed with the movie and cannot wait for the second half to come out! 

2. Saturday night, Zach and Liz had all our friends over for a Thanksgiving dinner. The food was amazing! I hope this becomes an annual tradition. And, I hope Liz posts the pictures she took so I can steal them. Hint, hint girl!!

3. Last night, I watched the AMA awards. Who else was excited to see these guys perform?

4. Saturday, mom and I did some shopping. We got some great bargains and the stores were having such awesome sales. I can tell they are really encouraging people to shop early. I plan to do a little more shopping Tuesday after my lunch date with Jennifer!

5. This week I am off work the entire week, but for some reason I was awake at 6 today. I got up when Dustin did and now I'm lounging in bed with my laptop catching up on blogs. I plan to do some major cleaning today and get some more Christmas decorations down from the attic. 

6. I'm really really looking forward to my road trip with Ashley Thursday. Dustin is going with all the men in the family on a big hunting trip for 5 days, so of course I gotta do something fun too! :)

7. And, today is Mom and Dad's 30th anniversary!!
