Ashlyn's 1st Tiger game

Saturday we took Ashlyn to her first Tiger basketball game. We were in a suite so it was perfect for her. She could play on the floor and move around. I think she really loved all the excitement! 

Pumpkin Patch

We took Ashlyn to a local farm's pumpkin patch this past weekend.

Charles and Liza's Wedding

This was one of those days where all odds were against me. We were almost late to the wedding because a huge storm blew in just as we left the house. Then there was a tree down in the road and we had to take a detour. We made it to the wedding only about 5 minutes late. Right before the reception, Ashlyn had a major blowout that got all over her pretty dress and, unfortunately, all over me too. I was just gonna go on home and skip the reception, but Jennifer took me to her place to change. I'm glad I did, because the reception was a lot of fun! 

I just love Charles and Liza! Charles is one of Dustin's oldest friends and Liza is his perfect match. She is hilarious and so fun to be around. I'm so happy for them!

At the reception, there was this huge frame hanging between two trees that served as a photo booth. So much fun!

Fun Weekend

We had such a FUN weekend! My friend Ashley and her boyfriend Cliff came in town to stay with us. They came in town Friday night and we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Happy Mexican. 

Saturday we went downtown to the Fed Ex Forum to watch the Tigers play. Unfortunately, it was a sad loss. After the game, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and the bowling alley. We haven't bowled in a couple years and it was so much fun!

Saturday night we hung out at home and since it was not too cold, we sat outside around the fire pit.

Sunday, we just hung around the house and relaxed. I was so sad when they left but we're already planning to see them very soon!

Today Dustin and I are both off work. It's nice to have an extra day to recoup!

Music and Basketball

Friday night, Dustin and I went downtown for the Tiger game. We met up with my parents and my cousin Lauren and her husband Ben at Rum Boogie before. Pam and Terry (band from my wedding reception) were playing. We love getting to see them play!

The game was great and the Tigers won!

After the game, Dustin and I went back to Rum Boogie to see the band Gabby Johnson. They are my very favorite local band so I was excited they were playing while we were downtown!

Saturday and Sunday were pretty low key at our house which was perfectly alright with me. I love a good laid back weekend every once in a while!

Now...let's get this week started because I'm off ALL next week for Thanksgiving!

Wedding fun

This past Saturday was my oldest friend Elise's wedding! I was one of the bridesmaids and I had the best time catching up with friends from high school and college. 

She was absolutely beautiful and the day was perfect!

Haha, big cheesing! You can't tell here, but I had a pouf ponytail. It wasn't huge because I have super thin hair, but I loved it!!

Elise got us all feather boas to wear at the reception and we changed into flip flops! Isn't that such a fun idea? And, of course I'm running my mouth in this picture. You can see the pouf better here! Ha!
