We decided to hit up the St. Louis zoo after we checked out of our hotel Sunday. Unfortunately for us, it was crazy HOT that day. Like 15 degrees hotter than the day before. I kept telling Dustin that I was so thankful that it wasn't that hot Saturday when we were at Six Flags all day.
We have a really nice zoo in Memphis, but St. Louis' zoo is amazing!! It has gorgeous trails that take you to each exhibit. Also, I was impressed with how much space the animals had and how closely it resembled their natural habitats.

We are quite proud of our zoo. And it's free! I love spending time in the penguin house - especially on hot summer days!
