Life is busy, Life is good!

I just noticed that I have only blogged 6 times this month and the month is almost over. So unlike me.

I guess life just hasn't slowed down any and we're just having way too much fun! Life is good!

Dustin and I spent our weekend hanging out with our friends. It's refreshing to have such incredible people to be around all the time and to know they are all just right around the corner!

We had a night out Saturday with our friends Kenneth and Beth to watch the Tigers and the Razorbacks basketball games a Buffalo Wild Wings.
Sunday after church we met up with Matt and Jennifer over at Marty and Kelly's house to watch the playoff games.

Also, I know you'll think I've lost my mind, BUT....

I signed up for this:

AND this:
with Jennifer and Kelly (the ladies above).

Dustin started helping me with running and training back in the Fall but we quit when it got cold. I know that we will be jogging/ walking the first one, but I want to be able to mostly jog/ run the second. That's a big goal!

Any tips??

You can do it!!! If I can do a
5k, anyone can! :) I think its great too that you guys are running it together! Having partners definitely makes it easier! And more fun, too!

You can do it! I couldn't even make it around the track once and I've done 2 half marathons (kinda slow, but still) now!

My tip is to do the Couch to 5k and start around week 3. I'm sure you can start at that level pretty easily. Not sure if that will have you ready completely by March- I can't do the math right now- but it will have you pretty darn close if not!

Good for you! I did my first 5k last summer, and it wasn't quite the success I had hoped for (I wound up walking part of the way), but I was very proud to have done it! I'm impressed that you've got 2 lined up. You can do it!
