I meant to post some pictures from my wild week last week at work. Remember, on Wednesday, we went to the Nursing home and El Porton. On Thursday, we had our Christmas program, we had a Polar Express Pajama Party, and we we had our Christmas festivities!

This is the kids at the Somerville Nursing Home about to sing Christmas carols and visit rooms. They were so sweet and the little old ladies and men loved them! We might go back all dressed up for Easter!

After the Nursing Home, we all went to lunch at El Porton. The Academy classes (K-2 accelerated learners) were studying foods around the world. They put on a mock Mexican restaurant for the Preschool classes. So to end their unit, we all had lunch at El Porton. It was lots of fun! Some of these children had never been to a restaurant before, but they were very well behaved! This is a picture of my girls eating their meals.

Thursday, was our last full day of school before Christmas break. We had our program in the morning, then we watched The Polar Express in our pj's and drank hot chocolate, then after lunch we partied! Each child's parent brought a wrapped gift for their child to open at the party. So after we opened presents, Ms. Bradley spent the remainder of the party opening and assembling toys! It was like Christmas day, but with 20 four year olds! Woo Hoo!! This is a picture of a few of the kids during the party.

Now I'm just thankful to have the next 2 weeks to relax and enjoy myself. I hope your having a fabulous Christmas season!! I will be as soon as I get over this nasty stomach virus...ugh!
