Now, my den is just not big enough for all my large furniture and that beautiful tree. So adjustments had to be made. Unfortunately for Dustin he was my helper. This was my tree right after we decorated it and I had declared it "beautiful"!
It looked nice there, but on the other side of the room, my love seat was all squished in the space between my back door and fireplace. It was taking away from my great decorations on the mantle and to be honest, I just plain hated the way it looked. Dustin, knowing me all too well, knew something wasn't right or that I didn't like something. So I just sweetly suggested that the tree probably would have looked better in front of the window (which is clear across the room). So, being the saint he is, he said "well, let's move it". So to make a long story short, he moved the tree, completely decorated of course, where the love seat was and moved the love seat back in it's original place on the other wall. Then there was the teeny little problem of the over sized chair. Now, there was no room in the den for it. We moved it into my bedroom...I hated that. Then we moved it into my office and that is where it is now. Poor Dustin. I just hope he realizes that we have to do it all over again once Christmas is over! Isn't he a saint??
I took this picture of us after it was all done. I was so happy. But, look at him...hahaha!
Anyway, I hope everyone had a yummy Thanksgiving!

You were so right - my first thought - that's not where it was! BUT - I really like it there. It compliments your mantel.
And yes Dustin is a saint - he's only getting a taste of what the future holds - hehe.
