Ashlyn is 1 month!

Ashlyn was one month old this past Saturday (2/9/13). We cannot believe how fast the time has flown by. Everyone says it does and it's true!

We had our one month doctor visit today and she got a great report! She is now 9 pounds and 21 1/4 inches. She's grown 2 pounds and 1.5 inches. Big girl!

She has changed so much in such a short amount of time. I think she's lost that newborn look already. Now she's just my squishy little baby girl! I love cuddling with her and I probably hold her more than I should. I don't care!

She's such a happy girl most of the time. We did have a couple days last week when she wasn't feeling well and that was hard on everyone. She has started smiling and cooing at us. She especially loves it when her daddy talks silly to her.

She has started sleeping so well. People told us that around 3 weeks she would get her days and nights straight and they were right. A little over a week ago, she started going down much easier and sleeps great at night. I usually feed her right before I go to bed and then she only wakes up once in the middle of the night to eat. Usually, she goes straight back to sleep for me. I still have her sleeping in the bassinet in our room. But, she has been napping during the day in her bed. Such a big girl!

This has been the most whirlwind of a month ever. So many emotions in such a short amount of time! We are so crazy about our sweet girl and are looking forward to watching her continue to grow!
