17 weeks

I look exactly how I feel in this picture. EXHAUSTED! My preschoolers started their stagger days this week (4 kids each day) and it's wearing me out.

How Far Along: 17 weeks

Size of Baby: size of an onion ... about 5-6 inches

Total Weight Gain: At least 5 pounds. I feel like I really hit a growth spurt this week so it may be more.

Gender: We find out August 24!! 15 days!!

Movement: Not yet, but I'm hoping soon :)

Sleep: I'm so exhausted from going back to work this week that I'm actually sleeping like a rock. I just wake up with a back ache most mornings.

Maternity Clothes: I'm thinking this is in my very near future. I may actually go try some on soon. I don't think I have one single pair of work pants that I can fasten. Thank God for the belly band and safety pins. :) Any suggestions on where to shop for cute, inexpensive maternity clothes? I need some basics without spending too much.

Symptoms: HUNGRY!! And, I come home from work with sore feet/ back everyday. I know this will only get worse. :(

Cravings: Cheese, pizza, candy, fruit, popsicles, ice cream, milk

What I miss: Being off work. I'm enjoying work, but it's just wearing me out. Maybe my body will get used to this new routine soon and it won't be so bad.

Best Moment this week: Jennifer sent out invitations for our Gender Reveal party in 2 weeks! Isn't it adorable?

You look great! Very cute invitations too! I got some maternity pants at JCPenney for cheap and went to Motherhood outlet an got a few work pants and jeans. Also Target carries some cute dresses and shirts. I didn't like the pants from Target but you might because you're so slim! :)

You look great! I can't believe you will know the gender in 2 weeks!

Teaching while pregnant is so, so hard. I was lucky enough to have middle schoolers so I could sit down and teach them a lot of the time. When I got really big in April/May my feet would swell and I had to teach sitting down with my feet up and barefoot because no shoes fit well! I looked like such a slacker lol! I doubt you have that luxury with little ones, but I hope you can take it easy as much as you can!

I remember teaching preschool while pregnant with Landon. It wears you out. I came home almost everyday and took a nap. Enjoys those while you can :) Can't wait to hear boy or girl!!

Target has cute stuff. I was never to happy with stores like Motherhood, their stuff just seemed so frumpy to me. GAP Maternity has really nice things and if you watch for sales you can get a good deal.

You look adorable! :) And things will probably get better... at 17 weeks I felt like death still. Then things got better. And even at nearly 32 weeks, i'm still feeling pretty good ! :)
