Christmas traditions

Can you believe Christmas is 5 days away?? I seriously cannot! It was so weird taking down all my decorations at school Friday. We are going to our first Christmas family party today. I can't believe it's here already!! 

This is a little Christmas traditions survey/ questionnaire I have seen on several blogs lately. For lack of anything else to really blog about, I thought I'd give it a try!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I prefer paper because I like how pretty it looks with a big bow on it. Of course some things just have to go in a bag.

2. Real tree or Artificial? artificial

3. When do you put up the tree? I put it up the week before Thanksgiving this year so I could enjoy it longer

4. When do you take the tree down? Probably that weekend after new years before I go back to work

5. Do you like eggnog? nope

6. Favorite gift received as a child? probably something Barbie. I loved my 4 story barbie house but I'm not sure if I got that for Christmas

7. Hardest person to buy for? Taylor

8. Easiest person to buy for? Dustin or mom

9. Do you have a nativity scene? 2 of them

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? I didn't do one, but I'll start next year and they will go in the mail the traditional way.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? don't remember

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Christmas Vacation

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? the week of Thanksgiving when I'm off work all week

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? don't think so

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? breakfast quiche that morning

16. Lights on the tree? most definitely

17. Favorite Christmas song? hmmmm, I like What Child is This, Mary Did You Know, O Holy Night, and lots more

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? stay here

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? no

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? star

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? morning

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? no parking spots

23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color? my Hallmark Barbie collectable ornaments

24. Favorite for Christmas Dinner? we usually do steaks

25. What do you want to do for Christmas this year? stay in my pj's all day at mom and dad's

26. Favorite Christmas tradition growing up? getting up Christmas morning with Taylor to check out what Santa brought. We still do this!

27. Favorite tradition now? last year Taylor and I both spent the night at mom and dad's Christmas eve so we would be there Christmas morning and we are doing it again this year.

28. Favorite Christmas Memory? I don't think I have just one favorite memory. I love everything about this time of year!!
